Queen Tea's Midtown location opened in 2024 in the ground-floor retail space of The Hadley condos on Juniper Street, tucked a block off Peachtree and a five-minute walk from the Midtown MARTA station. It's the third storefront from founder Joleen Dai, who launched the brand in Kennesaw in 2019 and expanded to The Avenue West Cobb in Marietta in 2022. The Midtown store is the first Queen Tea to land ITP, and the positioning — late hours, board games, a small food menu, condo-residential setting — reads like it was designed for the neighborhood's after-work and after-class traffic.
The menu is boba-first and Taiwanese in orientation: handcrafted milk teas, fruit teas, snow ice, and a small line of savory items (dumplings, pork buns, salt-and-pepper chicken nuggets) that make this a legitimate dinner-and-drinks stop rather than just a boba counter. Tapioca pearls are made fresh daily. The room is bright and clean — minimal-design rather than warm-cafe — with a shelf of board games near the register that anyone can pull. Late hours (to 11:30pm every night) fill in one of Midtown's real gaps: there aren't many places where you can settle in with a milk tea and a chessboard past 10pm.
Practical notes: The Hadley building has guest parking for short stops, and the Midtown MARTA station is a walkable block. Orders move fast but the to-go line thickens around dinnertime. The customer-service line on the brand's website goes to a central number — call (404) 975-3302 for location-specific questions.
